Therefore, ionic liquids, supercritical CO2 and aqueous two-phase are considered to be the three major green solvents. it has been reported that some organic reactions, such as carbon cycle synthesis, adol reaction and cross-linking reaction, have been tried again in ionic liquids. It has been proved that ionic liquids can significantly improve the reaction yield compared with common organic solvents. Because of the extremely low vapor pressure and wide liquid temperature range, ionic liquids are easy to be separated. When the catalyst is dissolved in ionic liquid and recycled together with ionic liquid, the catalyst has the advantages of high homogeneous catalytic efficiency and easy separation of heterogeneous catalysis.
